Catalyst is not about style or preference. It’s not about a certain type of music, holding a specific doctrine, or having the correct theology. It’s not about looking a certain way or meeting other people’s expectations. It’s about meeting God. We believe that should be the sole purpose of worship—to enter into the presence of God.
What really sets Catalyst apart from any other worship service is that it's 'organic.' It's not a top-down worship service — it grows from the ground up. Each service is created, planned, and implemented by regular, everyday people. So Catalyst is from people... for people... to help them meet God and find guidance to face everyday life.

This service is held in our sanctuary and enthusiastically blends a wide range of music drawn from the history of the church and from various contemporary musical applications. An emphasis is placed on effective communication skills in both biblical preaching and the leading of worship. This worship environment focuses on discovering the presence of the living Christ through the engagement of the whole person — mind, heart, will, body and senses. Although traditional in nature, the goal of this worship encounter is a heightened sense of spirituality, both personal and corporate. |
